If your organization does not use SSO (Single Sign-on), then you will need to first create your password, using the link in your Welcome email. After you’ve created your password, you will log in using your username and new password. If you need further assistance, please follow the instructions here.
If you are unsure whether your organization uses SSO or not, please follow the steps at the top of this article to find out: How do I login?
Your Dashboard
On your dashboard, you’ll find your outstanding time studies, or those that - have not been started, have been started and were saved (on hold), or have been returned. You will also see a list of the upcoming time periods when you will need to complete other time studies. Please note, time studies for upcoming time periods can not be accessed until the first day of that time period.
In the upper-right corner, you’ll find your notifications. This includes tasks, and when applicable, any additional alerts. Tasks would include your outstanding time studies and alerts would include things like returned time studies.

Complete a Time Study
You can find your outstanding time studies on your Dashboard or from your left menu bar > Time Studies > My Outstanding Records. After clicking Enter to open a time study form, you will see::
- Dates – Listed across the top
- Categories – Listed in blue sub headers
- Activities – Listed below each category, down the left side of the form
NOTE: Your organization’s time study administrator(s) determine the categories and activities displayed on the form. If you have questions about the categories or activities, please reach out to an administrator.
Enter Hours
For each day and activity, enter your hours. Depending on your time study’s format, you may encounter the following:
- Total hours versus start times - some organizations may have you enter your total hours per activity for each day, while others will have you enter actual start and end times for each activity (i.e., AM/PM forms).
vs.
- Organ tabs - if you are reporting hours individually per organ, ensure you click on each tab to enter hours appropriately for that organ.
- Organ checkboxes - if you are splitting your hours evenly across multiple organs, ensure each applicable organ’s box is checked before submitting your time.
TIP: If your hours are the same as last time (or similar), you can use this prompt at the top of your time study to copy those hours and edit them.
Be aware of the time study form restrictions:
- There is a maximum of 24 hours per day. If you enter more hours, you will receive an error message prompting you to correct your time.
- Enter hours in 15-minute increments, or the system will round up or down for you.
- All forms submitted must have hours listed or a leave of absence selected.
- The attestation box must be checked to submit your time study (i.e., "I hereby attest to the accuracy of this time study." - or similar).
Save or Submit Your Hours
After entering your hours, you can click Hold your data to finish later or click Submit if you are done for that time period. Learn more about these options here: What is "Hold" vs "Submit"?
Viewing Your Completed Records
- Click Reporting in the Quick Nav on the left of the dashboard.
- Click Time Studies
- Select a date range that you'd like to search
- Your date range must fully encompass the time period you're seeking.
- e.g. If the Time Period for the time study is Jan 1 through Jan 7, then searching Jan 1 through Jan 6 will not return that time study. Your end date would need to be Jan 7 or any date thereafter.
- Your date range must fully encompass the time period you're seeking.
- Use the Status dropdown to select Completed
- The farthest right column has an eye icon. Clicking this will let you view your submitted time study
- This report also lets you view time studies that are On Hold or Pending Approval
- When you view a Pending time study, you will see the following message: "This record is pending approval and it is currently locked. If you need to make changes, please contact an administrator."
- Pending Approval records need to be reviewed by your Supporter before fully closing.
- On Hold Records are time studies that you've begun and saved, but you still need to finish entering hours and click Submit
