Send Welcome email on hire date, not upon profile creation
Problem:
When a new user profile is created, the welcome email is sent immediately. If the person is new to the organization, their email address may not even be set up yet, and the welcome email may bounce.
Proposed solution:
Wait to send the welcome email until the entered Hire Date.
Impact:
Some organizations prefer to add new hires to Time Study as soon as they hear about them, setting the hire/start date in the future. With high turnover rates, it becomes a burden to have to wait until the person's email address is activated internally before adding to Time Study.
