What is a Pending time study?
A time study becomes Pending when a Reporter submits it and is assigned to a reviewer — an Admin or Supporter with the Support Staff Approve Time Records setting enabled.
Pending = needs review before finalizing. These records are:
- Considered incomplete
- Excluded from summary reports
- Locked for Reporter edits
- Require action (approve or return) by a Supporter or Admin
Supporters can approve or reopen records for their assigned Reporters.
Admins can approve or reopen records for all Reporters.
|
Note for Admins We advise against enabling the approval workflow for Admins. Their Dashboard provides an overview of all users but no detailed user-level Pending Records table. |
