The attestation checkbox above the Submit button must always be checked before submitting a time study.
Setting: Support Staff Submit Time Records
Supporter and Admin user profiles (typically visible only to a time study program administrator) include a setting called Support Staff Submit Time Records. This setting lets Supporters and Admins submit time studies on behalf of their assigned Reporters.
If you expect to submit a time study but can't, ask your time study program administrator to enable this setting. In some cases, enabling it isn't possible due to audit risk: CMS may require the Reporter to attest to their own hours.
Profile Management: Updating the Setting
To update this setting, open the Supporter's profile and go to the Access tab. Change the Support Staff Submit Time Records dropdown to Yes.
Note:
- This setting is only available on Supporter and Admin profiles.
- For Supporters, this change affects their ability to submit time studies for all of their assigned Reporters.
- For Admins, this change affects their ability to submit time studies for ALL Reporters.
The Audit Data Download report indicates who attested and submitted the time study.
