To reset someone else's password, open their profile and click Reset Password. The user will receive an email with a link to create a new password.
To reset someone else's password:
- Click People in the left navigation panel.
- Search by username, first name, or last name (one at a time). Substring searches are allowed (e.g., 'Jo' includes John or Joseph).
- Open the profile by clicking the purple 'edit' icon on the far right.
- Click Reset Password at the bottom of the screen.*
- The person will receive an email with a link to create a new password. The link expires in 24 hours.
*If the person is locked out due to failed login attempts, change Locked from YES to NO and click Save before step 4 to see the Reset Password button.
