Setting Supporter Permissions
In addition to granting access rights, decide on the permissions for the Supporter.
- In the User Profile, click Permissions.
- Make a decision on these two settings:
- Support Staff Approve Time Records: If you want this Supporter to be an "Approver" (responsible for reviewing and approving/returning time studies for their assignees), set this option to Yes. All time studies will go into the Pending status upon submission. If the Supporter fails to approve them, they won't be deemed complete and will be excluded from reports. It's crucial for the Supporter to understand their responsibility in this process.
- Support Staff Submit Time Records: If you want this Supporter to be able to click the attest checkbox on behalf of their assignees, and then click Submit without the Reporter needing to log in to the system at all, set this to Yes.
- Be sure to click Save when you're done.
