Your login attempt was not successful. Please try again.
This error message occurs when you attempt to log in using the non-SSO method, and either your username or password is incorrect. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:
- Ensure that you’re logging in with your username, not your email address. Your username is included in your welcome email or the automated emails you receive from TimeStudy.
- If you’re unsure about your password, click the “Forgot Password?” link.
- If you should log in with SSO, click the “Log in via SSO” link at the bottom of the page. This non-SSO login page doesn’t apply to you.
User Not Found
This error message is specific to SSO users and indicates a problem in your user profile. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to resolve this issue on your own; you’ll need to reach out to your time study program administrator. If you’re unsure who to contact, we’ll be happy to assist you in finding the appropriate person to resolve this matter.
Your administrator has configured the application TimeStudy ('xxxxxxxx') to block users unless they are specifically granted ('assigned') access to the application. The signed in user 'email address' is blocked because they are not a direct member of a group with access, nor had access directly assigned by an administrator. Please contact your administrator to assign access to this application.
This error message is specific to SSO users and appears when your organization enforces a security group, but you haven’t yet been added to it. Contact your time study program administratora or IT team to request access. It's possible that you have two different SSO logins if you work for two related organizations. If you're using the other SSO login, you will receive this error message.
- You have two separate SSO logins, and you’re attempting to log in to the one that hasn’t been added to Time Study.
This user does not support this login method
This error message occurs in a rare situation when an SSO user is initially created without SSO and the new person uses their link to create a new password but in the meantime, an Admin has changed their configuration for SSO. To prevent this error message, administrators should always add the SSO Identity value when creating a new user instead of waiting until later.
Administrators can resolve this issue by following the below steps:
- Open the user profile.
- Change the email address to a temporary one and save. (Avoid using an invalid email because it will bounce.)
- Remove the SSO Identity value and save. (This triggers a non-SSO welcome email, which is why you change the email in step 2.)
- Re-add the SSO Identity value and save.
- Restore the correct email address and save.
This clears the conflict and resets the system to treat the user correctly as SSO-only.
Confirmation Not Found
This error message appears to non-SSO users when the “create a password” link has expired. You can request a new password by visiting the Forgot Password? page.
