How do I change or reset my password?

If you don't know your password, click "Forgot password?" from the login page. If you use SSO, this does not apply to you.

Note: If you use SSO, you cannot reset your password through Time Study. Contact your time study program administrator instead. For more info, see here: Do I use Single Sign On to log in to Time Study?

Resetting Your Time Study Account Password

  1. Click the "Forgot Password?" link on the Time Study login screen 
    Forgot Password link
  2. Enter your username or email address
  3. Check "I'm not a robot"
  4. Click Reset 
    Reset Password form
  5. A link will be emailed to you (check spam if not received)
    • Note: the link expires in 24 hours; if you see "Confirmation not found," request a new password.
  6. Click the link in your email to set a new password
  7. Enter the new password twice
  8. You will be logged in automatically

If You Are Locked Out

  1. After 5 failed log-in attempts, your account will be locked.
  2. To unlock it, you'll need to reset your password.
  3. Follow the steps above for a password reset.

Changing Your Password

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click your username at the top right
  3. Select Manage
  4. Under Reset Password, enter your current password
  5. Fill in the new password fields
  6. Click Reset

Your password must meet these requirements:

  • 8-20 characters long, including:
    • one number
    • one uppercase letter
    • one lowercase letter
    • one special character
